Houthi attacks on Saudi oil facilities have ignited fires and wounded at least 73 people, raising concerns for global economy stability.

The attacks occurred in the southern region of Saudi Arabia, targeting civilian and economic facilities in Abha, Jazan, Najran, and Khamis Mushait.

Saudi-led coalition spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki said the wounded included women and children.

The flare-up brings further instability to a region already scarred by nearly three years of wars, threatening to squeeze shipping through the Bab al-Mandeb strait.
