Houthi Rebels Claim Successful Strike on Saudi Oil Tanker 'Daisy' in Gulf of Aden

The Houthi rebels in Yemen have claimed another successful ballistic missile strike on a Saudi oil tanker, this time targeting the 'Daisy' vessel in the Gulf of Aden. The group announced that they successfully targeted the ship with a ballistic missile and forced it to change course.

This is the second strike on a Saudi oil tanker by the Houthi rebels in as many days. On August 5, they claimed to have struck another tanker called 'Wafaa' off the coast of Yanbu, which they said was part of their maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia.

The Houthis warned that they will continue targeting Saudi oil vessels until their demands are met and the blockade is lifted. They claim to have targeted eight Saudi oil ships since July 22 and prevented 29 from continuing their routes or forced them to turn back in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.
