Houthis Hit Saudi Oil Facilities in Retaliation for Airstrikes

The Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen have launched missile and drone attacks on facilities belonging to Aramco, Saudi Arabia's state-run oil company. The attacks are a retaliation for Saudi airstrikes on the Yemeni port city of Hodeida, according to Houthi Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree.

The Houthis claimed that they launched two military operations, targeting sensitive Aramco-affiliated facilities in Jizan and Yanbu with dozens of ballistic missiles and drones. The attacks were successful, achieving their objectives 'thanks to Allah Almighty', according to Saree.

However, the Saudis claim that the attacks were intercepted by air defense systems operated by Greek military units.
