The Houthi group in Yemen launched attacks on Saudi Arabia, targeting 'sensitive' sites in Riyadh and an Aramco facility in Yanbu. The Houthis said they responded to an attack in Sanaa and accused Saudi Arabia of conducting hundreds of airstrikes against them.

Flames and a large plume of smoke were seen near King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, with the airport highway, main terminal building, and other facilities visible in the background. The US embassies in Jerusalem, Oman, and Iraq issued security alerts for American nationals in the Middle East due to heightened tensions.

The Saudi-led military coalition said its air defenses destroyed a missile fired by the Houthis toward Riyadh early on Saturday. The Houthis also claimed they foiled 'criminal attempts' in Sanaa, blaming Saudi Arabia and vowing a response.
