The Houthi rebels in Yemen have launched another attack on Saudi Arabia's oil infrastructure. The group, backed by Iran, targeted an Aramco refinery in Jazan on the southern Red Sea coast with several drones. This is part of a broader escalation of attacks by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia and its allies.

The Houthi news agency Saba cited a military source as saying that the attack was in response to airspace violations over the governorates of Saada and Hajjah in Yemen. The group has been launching attacks on areas held by the Yemeni government, which is backed by Saudi Arabia, since announcing a maritime blockade last month.

The Houthi's latest move comes after they welcomed an Iranian plane landing in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, last month. This led to a spate of tit-for-tat attacks between the two sides.
