Houthis Launch Drone Strike on Saudi Oil Infrastructure
The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, also known as the Houthis, claimed responsibility for a drone strike on Saudi Arabia's oil infrastructure. According to Yahya Saree, the group's military spokesperson, the operation targeted 'several facilities and sensitive targets' linked to the supply and transportation of crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia to the Red Sea port of Yanbu.
The attack was carried out in response to what Saree described as repeated violations of Yemeni airspace by Saudi drones. This incident highlights the ongoing tensions between Saudi Arabia and Yemen, with both sides engaging in a cat-and-mouse game of aerial attacks.
