Houthis Strike Saudi Oil Installations as US Hesitates on Iran Response
Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi militants fired on Saudi oil installations in two ports on the Red Sea coast, but the United States held back from launching air strikes on Iran itself for the first night in two weeks. The attacks targeted facilities at Jizan and Yanbu.
The Houthis' military spokesperson, Yahya Sare, said they carried out operations targeting Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan and Yanbu. This comes after a lull in tensions between Iran and the US, which had been escalating over the past two weeks.
