Houthis Target Saudi Oil Tankers Amid Escalating Tensions
The Houthi group in Yemen has claimed to have targeted two Saudi oil tankers with ballistic missiles, one in the Gulf of Aden and another in the northern Red Sea.
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea stated that the attack was part of their declared maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia under a 'blockade-for-blockade' policy.
The group claims to be closely monitoring Saudi oil tankers and will block their passage through the southern and northern Red Sea until what they call a blockade on Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen is lifted.
