Indian Gold Prices Fall Amid Geopolitical Tensions

Gold prices in India declined by nearly 0.5% on Monday morning as investors monitored geopolitical developments and global economic uncertainty, according to data from the Indian Bullion Association.

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) reported gold futures for October 5 trading at ₹153,870 per 10 grams around 9:05 am, while silver futures for December 4 were down 0.39% at ₹240,663 per kg.

Retail prices of 24-karat gold varied across major Indian cities, with Chennai recording a price of ₹154,670 per 10 grams and Bengaluru at ₹154,350 per 10 grams.

Silver of 999 fineness was priced at ₹240,640 per kg, according to the data.
