Gold prices in India remained high on September 19, 2026, amidst rising tensions in West Asia. According to market data, 24-carat gold was priced at around Rs 15,443 per gram, while 22-carat gold was around Rs 14,156 per gram.

The indicative national rate for 10 grams of 24-carat gold stood at approximately Rs 1,54,430, and 22-carat gold was around Rs 1,41,560. Prices varied across cities due to local market conditions, taxes, and other charges.

Delhi recorded a 22-carat gold price of around Rs 1,41,700 per 10 grams, while 24-carat gold was around Rs 1,54,570. Mumbai had similar prices, with 22-carat gold at Rs 1,41,560 and 24-carat gold at Rs 1,54,430 per 10 grams.

Commodity expert Ajay Kedia stated that easing concerns over oil supply disruptions and expectations of progress toward an end to the Iran conflict weighed on crude prices. This potentially reduced inflationary pressure and limited safe-haven demand for gold.
