Indian Market Set for Gap-Up Start Amid Crude Oil Price Drop

The Indian stock market is set for a gap-up start on Monday, with the Sensex and Nifty 50 expected to open sharply higher.

This comes after crude oil prices tumbled nearly 5% over the weekend due to easing geopolitical tensions between the U.S. and Iran.

The biggest trigger for the market remains the sharp fall in crude oil prices, with Brent crude slipping more than 5% to around $92 per barrel and U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude declining around 5% to nearly $85 per barrel.
