The Indian stock market is expected to open on a negative note on Monday, September 28, due to geopolitical uncertainty and rising crude oil prices.
According to Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money, renewed concerns over supply disruptions and oil price increases are weighing on investor sentiment.
The BSE Sensex rose 315.20 points, or 0.43%, to settle at 73,895.74 on Friday, with 19 of its 30 constituents ending higher and 11 closing in the red.
On the Nifty 50 outlook, Rupak De, Senior Technical Analyst at LKP Securities, noted that the index continues to form lower highs and lower lows, indicating a weak short-term trend.
