Indian Stocks Decline Amid Crude Oil Volatility
The Indian stock market experienced a marginal decline on Wednesday, with the Sensex falling over 48 points to close at 72,480. The Nifty also ended lower, settling at 22,620. These figures mark a decrease from the early morning closing prices.
Asian markets, however, showed gains as crude oil prices steadied after a sharp fall. Japan's Nikkei 225 rose 1.29 per cent, while South Korea's Kospi gained 0.43 per cent.
The mixed performance on Wall Street contributed to the overnight volatility in domestic equities. Investors continued to assess global risk sentiment as they monitored crude oil prices and geopolitical developments.
