India's Gold Prices Surge Rs 2,000 as Retailers Buy Up
Gold prices surged in India's national capital on Tuesday, rising Rs 2,000 to Rs 1.58 lakh per 10 grams for a second consecutive session.
The price increase was driven by retailers and stockists stepping up buying, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
Silver also saw gains, advancing Rs 730 to Rs 2,40,730 per kilogram.
Global gold prices traded at USD 4,394.57 per ounce, while silver dropped to USD 65.08 per ounce.
