Iowa Gas Prices Rise Amid Global Crude Oil Decline

The price of gasoline in Iowa has increased by 23 cents from last week's average and now stands at $4.34 per gallon, according to AAA.

This is up from a year ago when prices averaged $3.51 per gallon. The national average for regular unleaded gasoline is currently at $4.74, up 38 cents from last week's price.

The global crude oil market saw a decline in prices this week, with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) falling by $11.37 per barrel to $92.64 and Brent crude decreasing by $4.89 to $102.73.
