US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent claims that Iran's oil exports will fall to zero within two weeks due to record sanctions imposed by the Trump administration. Bessent attributed this decline to Washington's toughest sanctions campaign to date, which has pushed Tehran toward economic and military collapse.

In an interview with Fox News, Bessent stated that only about 15 million barrels of Iranian oil currently remain at sea awaiting delivery. He emphasized that after the last shipment of oil is delivered to China, there will be nothing left for Iran to sell, resulting in zero exports.

Bessent also highlighted the severity of the sanctions, noting that they have destroyed 85% to 90% of Iran's missile and drone manufacturing plants. Additionally, three major Iranian banks and the entire country's airlines have been cut off from international financial and aviation systems, with strict monitoring placed on digital currencies.
