The ongoing conflict between Iran and the US has taken a new turn as Tehran identifies potential energy targets in case of military strikes. According to reports, Iran's retaliation plan includes key oil and gas facilities in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and other Gulf countries.

The list of potential targets reportedly includes Qatar's North Field, the world's largest natural gas field, and Ras Laffan Industrial City, one of the world's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) export hubs. In Saudi Arabia, Iran has identified the Ghawar oil field, the Abqaiq oil processing facility, and the Khurais oil field as potential targets.

The reported retaliation plan also mentions Kuwait's Burgan oil field, Bahrain's Sitra refinery and Al-Mihaj, along with Israel's Leviathan and Tamar offshore natural gas fields. Iran has reportedly prepared a comprehensive plan to respond if the US or its allies launch another military operation.
