Iran to Revive Gas Output Amid Ongoing Conflict

Iran plans to restore nearly 95 million cubic meters of gas production capacity by September as it repairs damage from recent conflicts. The war, involving Israel and the US, has reduced output by approximately 230 mcm/day since late February.

Iran's oil minister, Mohsen Paknejad, stated that four damaged gas-processing plants in Assaluyeh are being rapidly rebuilt. Reconstruction is ahead of schedule, allowing the full lost capacity to return to production networks.

Paknejad also warned that some restored capacity will be unavailable during winter months, necessitating careful management of gas supply and consumption to meet demand.
