Ukraine Cuts Grain Export Forecast Amid Odesa Port Blockade

Ukraine's grain export forecast for the 2026/27 season has been revised downwards due to intensified Russian attacks on port infrastructure in the Odesa region.

The new projection estimates exports at 38-40 million tons, a decline of 3-5 million tons from the previous forecast of around 43 million tons.

This reduction is attributed to the blockade of Ukrainian Black Sea ports, with over 90% of grain exports normally shipped through these facilities.
