Iran Unveils Seven-Day Plan to End War with US Amid Regional Tensions

Iran has proposed a seven-day plan to end its war with the US, according to Iranian officials who met with Qatari and Pakistani mediators on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. The plan calls for an end to hostilities on all fronts, including Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the release of $12 billion in frozen Iranian assets and sanctions waivers for Iranian oil.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country is willing to accept international verification of its nuclear program and lower uranium enrichment levels. He emphasized that Iran does not want a nuclear bomb and is willing to dilute enriched uranium, adding that it would submit itself to verification.

The UAE has suspended all flights operated by Iranian airlines due to new US sanctions threatening airports and aviation companies that continue servicing Iranian carriers. Iran warned neighboring countries against enforcing the measures, saying 'flights in the region are either open to everyone or to no one.'

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's military chiefs will hold an urgent meeting with their Turkish and Pakistani counterparts to discuss support for Riyadh under the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement.
