Iran-US Conflict Drags Oil Prices Above $100
Oil prices held above $100 a barrel in Asian trading on Monday as tensions between Iran and the US continued to weigh on markets.
The conflict, combined with recent Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, added to concerns over energy supplies. Brent crude slipped 0.2% to $103.68 a barrel, while US crude fell 0.3% to $100.02.
A report from Reuters suggested that Saudi Arabia might be able to quickly restore some flows through its east-west pipeline, damaged in attacks last week, which helped ease prices slightly.
