Iran Warns Neighbors: Join US Economic War at Your Own Risk
The Supreme National Security Council Secretary of Iran has warned neighboring countries against joining the US in its 'economic war' on Tehran. Mohsen Rezaee stated that any country cooperating with Washington will be considered an enemy and may face blockages to oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized that Iran does not seek to escalate the conflict but will take action if necessary.
Rezaee's comments come as US President Donald Trump has announced plans for 'the most crushing economic operation ever taken against any country' targeting Iran. The current diplomatic deadlock between the two nations is rooted in disputes over implementation of a June memorandum of understanding aimed at ending hostilities that began in February.
