Iraqi Gold Prices Surge to 930,000 IQD per Mithqal Amid Ongoing Upward Trend

Gold prices have been on the rise in Baghdad and Erbil markets, according to a recent survey by Shafaq News. On Sunday, gold prices hovered around 930,000 IQD per mithqal in both cities, continuing their upward trend.

In Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street market, the selling price for 21-carat gold was recorded at 922,000 IQD per mithqal, with a buying price of 918,000 IQD. The same gold had sold for 917,000 IQD on Saturday.

For 21-carat Iraqi gold, the selling price stood at 892,000 IQD, while the buying price was 888,000 IQD. In jewelry stores, prices ranged between 920,000 and 930,000 IQD per mithqal for 21-carat Gulf gold, and between 890,000 and 900,000 IQD for Iraqi gold.

In Erbil, the market prices were slightly higher: 22-carat gold was sold at 978,000 IQD per mithqal, 21-carat gold at 935,000 IQD, and 18-carat gold at 802,000 IQD.
