Kazakhstan's Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) has made significant progress in oil production optimization. Researchers have developed a quantum model that combines physical laws, neural networks, and quantum computing methods to improve accuracy and optimize parameters.

The model aims to predict processes within an oil reservoir more accurately, allowing engineers to better manage production parameters. This approach is expected to enhance the efficiency of various technological methods used in oil production, including water injection into the reservoir and maintaining reservoir pressure.

Aksultan Mukhanbet, Acting Associate Professor at KazNU, views this area as one of the most promising for quantum computing implementation in applied scientific research in Kazakhstan. The researchers plan to continue their work and expand the capabilities of quantum models to tackle complex problems related to oil production processes.
