Kerala Gold Prices Fall Slightly After Sharp Rise

Gold prices in Kerala experienced a slight decline today after a sharp rise over the past few days. The price of one gram of gold decreased by Rs 15 to Rs 14,270, while the price of one sovereign dropped by Rs 120 to Rs 1,14,160.

The recent surge in gold prices had seen the price of one sovereign increase by Rs 1,040 on Saturday and the price per gram rise by Rs 130. However, the slight decline today brings some relief after a two-day hike that saw gold prices rise by Rs 2,200.

Experts attribute the fluctuations to changes in international gold prices and concerns over rising inflation and higher interest costs. Geopolitical uncertainty in West Asia continues to support demand for gold as a safe-haven investment.
