Kinross Gold Updates Lobo-Marte Project Feasibility Study with Robust Economics

Kinross Gold Corporation (TSX: K; NYSE: KGC) has announced an update on its Lobo-Marte project in Chile, which is expected to contribute approximately 4.6 million gold ounces over a 15-year operating life.

The initial mine plan includes approximately 6.7 million proven and probable reserves with significant potential for mine life extension through the 2.8 million Measured and Indicated resource and 670,000 oz. inferred resource.

The project has robust economics, with an estimated Net Present Value (NPV) of $4.3 billion, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 26%, and payback of 2.3 years at a $4,100 per ounce gold price.
