Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's government is releasing wheat from its stocks to flour mills, leading to a decline in wheat and flour prices.

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Food Dr Muhammad Israr Khan stated that there was no shortage of wheat or flour in the province.

The Food Department is continuously monitoring the supply and distribution of flour to ensure its availability at the official rate.

A total of 639,762 flour bags were supplied to consumers through active government flour sale points across the province during the week from September 12 to 18, 2026.
