KuCoin Market Analysis Reveals Overbought Assets and Increased Net Longs
The latest market analysis from KuCoin reveals that several assets are in 'overbought' territory, while one is in 'oversold' territory. As of October 1, 2026, five instruments on the chart have long positions exceeding 80%, with FTSE China A50 holding the highest percentage at 98%. Spot gold XAU/USD and US crude oil WTI OIL also have high long position percentages at 86% and 52% respectively. In contrast, one instrument is in 'oversold' territory with a long position below 20%.
The position change signals show that there are six instruments with increased net longs and 11 with decreased net longs. One instrument has increased net shorts, while three have decreased net shorts. Additionally, one instrument shifted from net short to neutral. The assets with positions at 80% or higher include spot gold XAU/USD, FTSE China A50, Hong Kong Hang Seng Index, and NZD/JPY.
The analysis also highlights that net short positions increased in USD/CAD, while they decreased in USD/JPY and CAD/JPY. Net long positions increased for several assets, including FTSE China A50, S&P 500, US30 Dow Jones, Germany DAX40, EUR/USD, AUD/USD.
