LAPP Cables Power Water Treatment Project in Qatar's North Field East

UNIDRO, an international specialist in water treatment solutions for the oil, gas, and energy industries, has partnered with LAPP to implement a large-scale water treatment project at the North Field East plant in Qatar.

The North Field East Project is one of the largest liquefied natural gas production plants in the world, producing up to eight million tonnes of LNG per year. To meet the plant's demanding conditions, UNIDRO developed integrated systems for treating various water flows that comply with strict process standards and high requirements for quality, sustainability, and delivery times.

LAPP pooled expertise from various specialist areas to develop tailor-made connection solutions that were specially manufactured and tested for the project. The cables used in the project are suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and in the presence of chemicals, and have high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
