US stock markets continued their modest decline on Tuesday, falling from record highs set just last Friday. The S&P 500 dropped 0.3%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 184 points and the Nasdaq composite sank 0.6%. Oil prices remain volatile due to uncertainty over the Iran war's impact on global crude supply.

Meanwhile, severe weather conditions are affecting parts of Kentucky, with multiple flood warnings and advisories issued for various regions. Flash flooding is expected in some areas, particularly in central and southeastern Laurel County, where up to 2.5 inches of rain has already fallen. Residents are advised to turn around and not attempt to drive through flooded roads.

The National Weather Service has also issued a flood watch for parts of south-central Kentucky, warning that excessive rainfall could lead to flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams. A series of thunderstorms are expected to move through the area over the next few days, bringing the potential for heavy downpours and flash flooding.
