MCX Gold Futures Rise on Strong Demand

Gold futures rose in value on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to strong demand. The price of gold increased by Rs 1,283 per 10 grams to Rs 1.63 lakh, with contracts for October delivery trading higher by 0.79%.

The business turnover was 3,424 lots, and analysts attribute the rise in prices to fresh positions built up by participants. Globally, gold futures also saw an increase of 0.99% to $4,648.78 per ounce in New York.
