Middle East Oil Exports Recover, But Prices Remain High
Oil exports from the Middle East are slowly increasing after disruptions due to the war. Despite this, crude and gasoline prices remain high, not yet returning to pre-war levels.
The region's oil terminals have been affected by the conflict, causing a backlog of shipments. However, some routes, such as the one through Syria, have started to recover. A tanker truck is being filled with gasoline at the Baniyas oil terminal in Syria's Tartus province on September 27.
Despite this progress, consumers and businesses may not see significant price relief anytime soon. The increased exports are unlikely to be enough to bring prices down to pre-war levels.
