Moldova's ANRE Launches Digital Tool for Comparing Natural Gas and Electricity Offers
The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) in Moldova has launched a digital tool to help household consumers and small non-household consumers compare offers from natural gas and electricity suppliers. The comparison platform allows users to select their energy type, consumer category, administrative-territorial unit, and estimated annual consumption to view available offers.
The tool does not sell or purchase energy and does not recommend any supplier. It is an independent platform that provides a single space for comparing supply offers. Offers can be sorted by unit price, estimated annual or monthly cost, or contract duration. Each offer includes information on the price, including VAT, validity period, contract duration, commercial terms, and deadline for concluding the contract.
The lowest estimated cost does not necessarily mean the most suitable offer for the consumer, as displayed costs depend on actual consumption and the terms of the contract. The tool can be used without creating an account or entering personal data and is available on the ANRE website. It will operate at full capacity starting October 1, 2026.
