The Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ) is revamping its Russian dealer network due to revised service and maintenance requirements. This change will lead to a reduction in the number of dealers.

Currently, MTZ has 89 dealers and five trading houses in Russia, accounting for 55% of the plant's exports by value. In the first half of the year, MTZ's revenue from Russian exports fell by 2%.

MTZ CEO Taras Murah noted that Russian farmers are under pressure from external factors, including a decline in grain exports and lower prices, limiting their ability to renew machinery. Despite this, the plant expects to increase exports by 2% for the year.
