Naftogaz and ORLEN Sign LNG and Oil Product Supply Deals
Naftogaz Group has strengthened Ukraine's energy security by signing two memorandums with Poland's ORLEN during the Carpathian Eight summit.
The agreements aim to diversify energy supply routes and provide stability in fuel supplies amid the global oil crisis. The first document outlines the supply of three shipments of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the first quarter of 2027, with additional volumes available if needed to meet peak seasonal consumption.
The second agreement provides for the supply of up to $500 million worth of oil products to the Ukrainian market. This will also explore the possibility of supplying Ukrainian crude oil for processing at refineries in Central Europe and transferring used fuel tankers to Ukrnafta for transportation.
