Natural Gas Prices Plummet After Brief Surge

Natural gas futures declined by 4.3% on Friday after Thursday's surge to a 2.5-month high, according to FXEmpire.

The November contract is still in an uptrend, but it needs to close above $3.395 for the trend to continue.

A pipeline operator announced that the leak had been found on Friday, which may have contributed to the decline in prices.

The market's momentum remains weak in the long term, with natural gas trading below its 200-day moving average at $3.524.
