Gold and silver prices have surged in Nepal's domestic market, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
The price of hallmark gold has increased by Rs 2,800 per tola (11.66 grams) to trade at Rs 293,300, up from Tuesday's price of Rs 290,500 per tola.
Silver prices have also seen a gain, with a hike of Rs 30 per tola bringing the price to Rs 4,425, compared to Rs 4,395 on Tuesday.
