The price of gold in Nepal has risen for the second day in a row. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, hallmark gold is now priced at Rs 2,88,500 per tola (11.66 grams), up from Rs 1,400 compared to yesterday's rate.
The price of gold per 10 grams has also increased, reaching Rs 2,47,340 today, a rise from the previous day's rate of Rs 2,46,140.
Silver prices have also gone up, with a single tola now trading at Rs 4,445, marking an increase of Rs 35 from yesterday's rate.
The fluctuations in domestic gold and silver prices are attributed to shifting trends in the international precious metals market, changes in the US dollar exchange rate, and local supply and demand dynamics.
