The gold market in Nepal has seen a significant surge in prices, with gold increasing by Rs 9,300 per tola in just one day. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the current price of gold is Rs 313,400 per tola, up from Rs 304,100 per tola on Wednesday.

The federation also reported a notable rise in silver prices, with an increase of Rs 260 per tola to Rs 4,855 today. This comes as international markets see relatively stable gold and silver prices, with gold trading at around $4,512 per ounce and silver at approximately $67 per ounce.

The rapid price hike in Nepal's domestic market has left many wondering what may be causing the surge. While no specific reasons have been cited by the federation, it is likely that various economic factors are at play.
