Nicola Mining has begun its exploration drilling program at the Treasure Mountain silver mine in British Columbia. The company is targeting the MB target area, an undrilled zone about 1 km northwest of the historical Treasure Mountain mine.

The site was placed on care and maintenance in 2013 due to low silver prices. However, recent soil and surface rock sampling from 2019 to 2022 indicated significant mineralization along a vein system.

Sample results included 813 g/t silver, 0.52 g/t gold, 19% zinc and 4.66% copper in one sample, and 1,300 g/t silver, 2.59 g/t gold, 1.16% copper, 27.4% lead and 27.2% zinc in another.

The drilling program comprises four drill holes totaling approximately 800 meters. Drilling is expected to be completed by the end of September, with assay results anticipated by year-end.
