Nigeria's crude oil and condensate production increased to 1.68 million barrels per day in August, up from 1.67 million barrels per day in July.

This marks another month of improved production for Nigeria, which has sustained compliance with its Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) quota for the fourth consecutive month.

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission attributed the modest increase to the resolution of operational challenges at the Erha field, where a Single Buoy Mooring had affected production performance in the previous month.
