Nigeria's Oil Production Falls 4% in July Amid Operational Challenges
Nigeria's average daily oil production declined by four percent in July to 1.67 million barrels per day (bpd), according to data from the Nigerian Upstream Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
The commission reported that Nigeria produced 1.505 million bpd of crude oil and 0.17 million bpd of condensate in July, meeting its Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) quota for the third consecutive month.
The NUPRC attributed the decline to operational challenges at the Erha and Akpo fields, which affected production during the period under review.
