Pine Cliff Energy Sees Mixed Q2 Results Amid Increased Capital Expenditure Plans
Pine Cliff Energy Ltd., a Canadian oil and gas company, has announced its second-quarter financial results for 2026. According to the report, the company generated $5.9 million ($0.02 per basic and fully diluted share) of adjusted funds flow in the three months ended June 30, 2026, compared to $4.9 million ($0.01 per basic and fully diluted share) in the same period last year.
The company's production averaged 19,747 barrels of oil equivalent (Boe)/day for the quarter, down from 21,236 Boe/day in Q2 2025. Net debt decreased by 14% to $50.8 million as at June 30, 2026, from $58.9 million at the same point last year.
Pine Cliff's Board of Directors has approved an increase in the 2026 capital expenditure budget to $27.0 million from $15.2 million, reflecting plans for an additional Glauconite well in the Central Alberta Caroline area and other minor capital projects.
