Northeast Asian Spot LNG Prices Surge Amid Supply Uncertainty

Spot LNG prices in Northeast Asia rose by $1.60 per million British thermal units (Btu) week on week to $21.60/MMBtu, according to Energy Intelligence assessments for deliveries four to eight weeks ahead.

This represents a significant increase from previous weeks and highlights the current uncertainty surrounding supply levels in the region.

Conversely, spot LNG prices in Southwest Europe fell by 25 cents week on week to $19.20/MMBtu.
