Northeast China Ethanol Market Sees 1.26% Price Hike Amid Strong Demand

The ethanol market in Northeast China saw significant activity on September 16, driven by immediate demand. The benchmark price for ethanol stood at 5,565.00 RMB/ton, marking a 1.26% increase from the beginning of the month.

In Jinzhou Port, Liaoning, standard-grade ethanol was being traded at 5,350-5,450 RMB/ton due to strong demand. Meanwhile, in Heilongjiang, ethanol prices were consolidating at lower levels, ranging from 4,900-5,050 RMB/ton in the east and 4,970-5,150 RMB/ton in the west.

In Jilin, ethanol prices remained stable, with standard-grade corn ethanol being sold at 5,100-5,170 RMB/ton. The market also saw premiums for premium and special-grade corn ethanol, priced between 5,250 to 5,450 RMB/ton.
