NYMEX Sees Precious Metals Prices Rise Amid September Trading
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has reported an increase in precious metals prices. On September 17, gold futures rose by 0.32% to $4360.20 per troy ounce, while silver futures increased by 1.84% to $65.47 per troy ounce. Platinum futures also saw a gain of 0.63% to $1799.30.
The NYMEX has two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division. The former handles trades in oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, while the latter deals with gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
