Oil India Sets New Record with Daily Production Hitting 147k Barrels

Oil India Limited has achieved its highest-ever daily oil and gas production, producing one lakh 47 thousand 159 Barrels of Oil Equivalent on Thursday, March 28, 2026.

Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri congratulated the company for this achievement in a social media post.

The minister added that India continues to strengthen its energy infrastructure and pursue initiatives towards energy Atma Nirbharta, which translates to energy self-reliance.
