Oil Prices Decline Amid Bearish Trends as Gold and EURUSD Attempt Recovery
Crude oil prices declined in their last intraday trading due to the dominance of bearish corrective waves on short-term charts, further exacerbated by its trade below the 50-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA50). This negative pressure continues to weigh heavily on the price despite emerging positive signals from relative strength indicators after reaching oversold levels.
Meanwhile, gold prices rose in recent intraday trading as it attempted to recover some of its previous losses. The metal offloaded some of its clear oversold conditions on relative strength indicators, particularly with the emergence of positive overlapping signals from them. However, the continuation of negative pressure due to trading below EMA50 reduces the chances of a full recovery in the near term.
The EURUSD price also rose in its last intraday trading, influenced by positive signals from relative strength indicators after reaching oversold levels. The currency pair attempted to offload some of this oversold condition and reach resistance at EMA50 amid the dominance of the main bearish trend on short-term charts. Its trade alongside a supportive trend line threatens current gains.
