Oil Prices Ease as Saudi Arabia Restores Crude Supply
Commodity markets were mixed on September 23 as oil prices eased following Saudi Arabia's decision to restore crude supply through a key pipeline to the Red Sea.
The move is seen as a positive development for the global energy market, which has been impacted by tensions between the US and Iran.
Brent crude futures fell 7 cents, or 0.07%, to $99.18 a barrel while West Texas Intermediate futures fell 35 cents, or 0.39%, to $90.17 per barrel.
In contrast, gold prices remained steady as traders monitored the progress of US-Iran talks for clues on how energy costs will influence the Federal Reserve's interest-rate path.
Bullion was trading around $4,360 an ounce after swinging between gains and losses on Tuesday before ending the session up 0.4%.
