Oil Prices Rebound as Asian Markets Surge on Tech Optimism
Oil prices dipped on Thursday after recent gains, settling at around $95 per barrel. Brent crude, the international benchmark, fell 0.4% to $95.26 a barrel.
The decline in oil prices came as Asian shares rose, mirroring Wall Street's gains from Wednesday. The Nikkei 225 index in Tokyo advanced 0.2%, while South Korea's Kospi rose 1.4%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng edged 0.1% higher, and the Shanghai Composite index climbed 0.4%.
The US futures market also indicated a rise in stocks, with investors encouraged by signs of growing demand for artificial intelligence from tech companies Dell and Palo Alto Networks.
